Hello!
My name is Ralph, and I am currently a junior at Marquette University studying Mechanical Engineering and French. I am the Lead Student Builder for the mechanical sector here at Kinectr. For your home solutions, I am primarily focused on purely physical solutions such as furniture upgrades and small to medium-sized objects for decor. However, with my skills in CAD, FEM, programming, and machining, I would be more than happy to try to bring any idea that you have to life! Even if I don't have the skillset for your product now, I can learn as I build!
Projects

A wooden frame that is specifically designed for the unique dimensions of two mini fridges so they can be stacked with the frame in between. Customer was previously unable to stack them because the desired orientation did not allow the upper fridge to sit flush, and another orientation would not stay in place when the fridge door was opened. The product was first designed in SolidWorks, and once the plan was set, it was machined using wood.

A laser-cut and engraved model of a 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback made from acrylic sheet. Customer was a car-lover and was looking for a unique living room decoration piece. Car was sketched by hand, and then car parts were modeled in SolidWorks. Using the generated drawing from the model, the pieces were laser-cut and engraved from an acrylic sheet. The pieces were then assembled together to create the final product.

Modeled a truck-to-pedestrian collision across two impact positions using Finite Element Modeling (LS-Dyna) to present a case for improved testing regulations and patient care standards. Conducted extensive literature search across 50+ previous vehicle-to-pedestrian collision studies to retrieve data for validation of the computational model and to strengthen personal understanding of the research area.

Found betting pattern by leveraging statistics background to achieve 4-figure profit across 50 minimal, straights bets. Semi-automated data collection and cleaning processes despite inconsistent data availability by developing MATLAB software and Excel tools, reducing lead time by 98% per game.

Accurate 3-D model of a portion of Marquette University's Alumni Memorial Union. Built using online softwares to retrieve necessary measurements and then modeled using SolidWorks.
